Finally back from the long trip from sg-taipei-hongkong-sg. but i think i really over-estimated the whole trip.

i thought it would be a fun + fruitful trip(my mom even asked me to control myself n not let my uncontrollable shopaholic nature over-whelm my senses) but it turned out bor--ing.
taipei was alright as we went sight-seeing. but i did not went to any shopping area to buy anything at all!!!(aiya,plus it's all winter clothings la) was really quite sad.

ok then i thought hongkong would be the place where i can have my retail therapy... but it turned out as bad(or maybe worse?) =( firstly, they're all selling winter clothes and i have super limited time can

mainly caused by my 'niao ku-ness' ok, here it goes, ---- i booked and paid online(for the online discount) for a hotel with asiarooms 1-2 mths ago. it's the T W H at Chung King Mansion located @ somewhere near Tsim Sha Tsui (TST). and... when baby n me reached the location i nearly faint(literally). cos it's mostly none asians but mainly backpackers from SA.
Seriously, i'm really terrified la. cos baby n me looked so 'out of place' at the building. like we're the only chinese speaking ppl at the whole place. ok. but i still decided to just put up with the place la. since it's only like 4 nights?

but, when i arrived at the counter to check-in. An chinese auntie(the receptionist) told me that i have to bring the credit card statement with me to do the check-in...??!! like WTH. why do i have to bring a statement when i have the credit card printed with my name on it. and u can verify the name with my passport right? idiotic.

okok nvm.. den we were(ok, I am) like making a big fuss over at the counter. i was thinking that the auntie MUST be trying to con me.(ok i may be a lil' bias towards her race over here) so i was really angry. come to think of it, i really look like a mad woman scolding n shouting at the reception. OMG
anyway, fast forward....... we decided not to stay at the hotel for all the 4 nights but we have to at least stay for 1 night as we do not have time to look for accommodation. also, we have to forfeit 1 night's charges all that shit la. so we ended up paying HKD940 for 1 night stay at the super 'lum nua' room -.-''

but we were still lucky; we saw a new hotel while shopping n we went to ask abt the charges all that n realise that it's the only hotel that is within our budget.(plus it's new,clean n nice &most importantly with super gd location @ Yau Ma Tei) and with many help from the travel agency 'Flight Travel Services Co.' we managed to get the room at an even cheaper rate but with many hiccups.

....in the end... my whole hongkong trip is revolving ard trying to look for my hotel room and waking up every morning worrying whether we'll have a place to stay for the night or not. (and baby n i quarrelled soooo many times during the trip la. he blame me for not reading the clause, i blame him for wasting money, he blame me for shopping too much, i blame him for sleeping in too late, he blame me for this, i blame him for that and it goes on & on.......)

but at the end of the trip baby really bought alot of stuffs la!!! he still told hongkong is a no no place before he bought all his stuffs. n after that 4 short hours, he can tell me he wanted to come back to HK nx yr to replace our BKK trip -.-'' so he went back happy la. -.-'' good lor.

n i only bought like 2 pair of shoes n 2 tops for the whole trip, idiot. actually i nearly bought a super super nice bag, but it cost SGD$300+ leh. so in the end i remained my stand n... there goes my bag!!! so super sad! =(
the only thing i did in this trip was to eat n eat n eat n eat n eat. oh yes, like a glutton. oh, and the only thing i'm happy with is my manicure done at Taipei. Yeah! =D

oh.. what a close shave!!

2 days ago after my icp class, i send zivx to a bus stop and a took an unfamiliar route to PIE. and it was raining super heavily with multiple thunder and lightning all around.

as my mind was so so occupied (with dont know what), that i just proceed straight ahead when i see other cars moving.

and to my horror!!! the moving cars are turning to the right with the green arrow and i saw that the traffic light for moving forward was RED! that's not all, i saw lights flashing around after that. i seriously didnt know whether it's the lightning or the red light camera. so i was like so stressed thinking about it for these 2 days.

until today, i finally take the route again n realise that there's no camera at the area. thank god! super heng la! haha
moral of the story = dont drive when you are drowsy or listless =x

I NEED A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP!!

i've been sleeping for like less than 20hrs in the past 5 days or so... so it's like average 4hrs per day. i seriously need to sleep!

Fri (Mahjong session with uni friends), slept at 7am woke up at 11am
Sun - some catch up gossiping session with xue from 11pm-7am!(i know we're like some long-winded aunties haha) n i nd to wake up at 9am to pray my grandma can.
after tat i met up with zhu n Merlin and we went shopping. but we met too late so in the end most of the shops were closed n we decided to catch a movie instead.

Mer suggested 'Blindness', she told us it should be a pretty interesting show as she had read the book and she summrized the story to us. It does sound interesting indeed. Its about some contagious disease that will cause blindness, the patients are then quarantined and left there to be on their own. It then shows how selfish and ugly mankind can actually be when they faced dangers and limited resources. I know it may sound boring but i love these type of movies. haha OMG does that mean that i'm a sadist?

ok, back to the point, however, we did not watch them as the lastest show are like ard 9pm? so we missed them too. In the end, we went to Mer house to play Wii!!!! & Omg i'm so so determined to buy a set ok. it's so fun! what's more, i really sweat like mad in the end of the day(more tiring than what i did in my yoga + dance class!) + i'm enjoying while working out at the same time. not like some boring jogs or gym work outs etc..

so i'll psycho my sibilings and mom to share with me. haha somemore Mer's bro have some lobang that we may be able to buy it cheaper. so... its a waste not to buy it right, right? haha

p.s such a boring n wordy post..

i need a dentist badly...

I've been having severe migraine recently and i always thought that it's either i'm too 'heaty' or not having enough sleep or many many other reasons.


..until just now when it's so pain that i even feel pain at my jaw and i thought that the headache has spread!! but... how will headache spread? so i massaged my jaw n realised that it's actually the gums that is painful! so.. finally i realise that my teeth maybe decayed n i need to do something to it real soon -.-''

oh.. so lazy to do anything..
tmr is the start of my first Yoga class!! yeah.. finally successfully dragged myself to sign up for it after such long time. hope it's fun.. =D

oh ya.. n because of the yoga class, sheena n me were super 'enthu'. we went to Mustafa n bought shoe bags n stuff. We nearly bought the whole set of stuffs k, like the super pretty but redundant Nike water bottle, gym bag, shoe bag, pretty yoga mats etc etc.. luckily our BFs stopped us. if not..., i cant imagine how disastrous it'll become.
haha this therefore tells us, its good to have your bfs tagging along to prevent compulsive impulse buying. haha

anyways, went to celebrate xue's advance 21st birthday on the 16th of Oct at Changi Safra Chalet. a nice place with nice ambience.
