It's the last day of 2008, and there i am sitting at home staring into space. Boring.

think i'll most likely be celebrating 2009 with my television at home :(

anyway, i should have some New Year Resolutions for 2009:

1) study well n be able to graduate...
2) ....with a bit of flying colours hopefully(i'm not that greedy to aim for first class though)
3) to find a nice job in this bearish economy after i graduate
4) earn lots & lots of money
5) be healthy
6) be happy

alright, i'll try my best to fulfill all of the above in the coming 2009. wish me luck =D

and... Happy New Year everyone!!!

I'm back!!! oh i really really love BKK tooo much... so much that i nearly cant bear to leave the hotel just now(ok exaggerating again). time is precious over there(esp. with guys who cant appreciate the art of shopping). i have to help my bro choose this choose that, rush here rush there. thus, i DID NOT buy anything much. really.. i only bought like 1 dress, 1 top, and 1 shorts. i bought more for him la. but he was really a disappointment by the way(sigh).

anyway, i want to go again!!! i seems to be enjoying my life to the max. haha so fun. but to be honest, i felt guilty. enjoying life n not putting effort to stuffs that are suppose to be important.
haha =P

ok anyway photos for hk n taiwan are up! finally..
there are really really too much la. so i wont put them all up at one go. if not my blog will be flooded by those photos.

OMG.. the airfare to bkk now is dirt cheap!!! i've check for airasia it's $139 for a round trip ard jan-mar (which is the period that we had planned to go)! so cheap. plus the rate now is quite ok also la(ard 23.4). mostly becos of the major riot tat time that 'killed' the economy there. the problem now is... the air tix have to be bought by this fri. so.. think it's impossible for us to decide so quickly =( nvm.. lets hope for a better deal nx yr!!

i'm so so tempted to go la. anyway, my parents are also quite 'gian' to go. so we might just go this fri! which is like 1-2 day later? haha so excited. hopefully everything is settled by tmr so that we can really go. although i'll be a super short trip, with not much time to shop n not able to go chatuchak, pratumun, MBK, or even platinum etc etc..... but i can still at least have my little little shopping craze.
and also, to start my class skipping regime. shit. i've been skipping CF so often (aiya,no choice cos it's a fri class ma =p)

ok. i mus be more hardworking after this trip so that i can catch up k. haha okok. after this trip, i will...........

Pls skip this

Finally back from the long trip from sg-taipei-hongkong-sg. but i think i really over-estimated the whole trip.

i thought it would be a fun + fruitful trip(my mom even asked me to control myself n not let my uncontrollable shopaholic nature over-whelm my senses) but it turned out bor--ing.
taipei was alright as we went sight-seeing. but i did not went to any shopping area to buy anything at all!!!(aiya, plus it's all winter clothings la) was really quite sad.

ok then i thought hongkong would be the place where i can have my retail therapy... but it turned out as bad(or maybe worse?) =( firstly, they're all selling winter clothes and i have super limited time can

mainly caused by my 'niao ku-ness' ok, here it goes, ---- i booked and paid online(for the online discount) for a hotel with asiarooms 1-2 mths ago. it's the T W H at Chung King Mansion located @ somewhere near Tsim Sha Tsui (TST). and... when baby n me reached the location i nearly faint(literally). cos it's mostly none asians but mainly backpackers from SA.
Seriously, i'm really terrified la. cos baby n me looked so 'out of place' at the building. like we're the only chinese speaking ppl at the whole place. ok. but i still decided to just put up with the place la. since it's only like 4 nights?

but, when i arrived at the counter to check-in. An chinese auntie(the receptionist) told me that i have to bring the credit card statement with me to do the check-in...??!! like WTH. why do i have to bring a statement when i have the credit card printed with my name on it. and u can verify the name with my passport right? idiotic.

okok nvm.. den we were(ok, I am) like making a big fuss over at the counter. i was thinking that the auntie MUST be trying to con me.(ok i may be a lil' bias towards her race over here) so i was really angry. come to think of it, i really look like a mad woman scolding n shouting at the reception. OMG
anyway, fast forward....... we decided not to stay at the hotel for all the 4 nights but we have to at least stay for 1 night as we do not have time to look for accommodation. also, we have to forfeit 1 night's charges all that shit la. so we ended up paying HKD940 for 1 night stay at the super 'lum nua' room -.-''

but we were still lucky; we saw a new hotel while shopping n we went to ask abt the charges all that n realise that it's the only hotel that is within our budget.(plus it's new, clean n nice &most importantly with super gd location @ Yau Ma Tei) and with many help from the travel agency 'Flight Travel Services Co.' we managed to get the room at an even cheaper rate but with many hiccups.

....in the end... my whole hongkong trip is revolving ard trying to look for my hotel room and waking up every morning worrying whether we'll have a place to stay for the night or not. (and baby n i quarrelled soooo many times during the trip la. he blame me for not reading the clause, i blame him for wasting money, he blame me for shopping too much, i blame him for sleeping in too late, he blame me for this, i blame him for that and it goes on & on.......)

but at the end of the trip baby really bought alot of stuffs la!!! he still told hongkong is a no no place before he bought all his stuffs. n after that 4 short hours, he can tell me he wanted to come back to HK nx yr to replace our BKK trip -.-'' so he went back happy la. -.-'' good lor.

n i only bought like 2 pair of shoes n 2 tops for the whole trip, idiot. actually i nearly bought a super super nice bag, but it cost SGD$300+ leh. so in the end i remained my stand n... there goes my bag!!! so super sad! =(
the only thing i did in this trip was to eat n eat n eat n eat n eat. oh yes, like a glutton. oh, and the only thing i'm happy with is my manicure done at Taipei. Yeah! =D

wow.. what a long n boring 'complain post'. pls skip this. haha.. okok photos up for u to visualise my whole trip soon.
